I saw this site through Cool Hunting. http://www.nendo.jp/en/works/detail.php?y=2013&t=310
The style is cool, clean and simple. Really nice to look at, simple design - minimal fuss and strong function.

The Envelope Room is an idea started by Lisa Sangster and myself for all designers who are working in Scotland. It's for Set, Costume, Lighting and Video designers (at the moment, this may expand).
We've both been working in Theatre Design for a few years now and while attending an event in October 2012 run by the Society of British Theatre Designers (SBTD) realised we weren't alone in our desire to have more support and promotion in our chosen careers. The Envelope Room is being developed by consulting designers based here in Scotland and building up feedback around our idea of a practical studio and a website/online resource. The main aim of The Envelope Room is to be a place to support, promote and connect performance designers. In the short term we'd like to start regular meetings with groups of designers to promote professional development opportunities and connect with organisations and companies who can provide support. In the long term we are planning to have a 'base', a studio with desks which would be available to rent long term and a place to meet if desk space wasn't a priority. We have lots of ideas to improve the working situation of designers and promote their tallents beyond Scotland. Any feedback is welcome. |
My BlogInspiration comes in all forms, sculpture, illustration, painting, public art, film, animation, text and design. This is a wee attempt to show some of it that jumps out at me. Archives
